11" or 12" Clutch

Upon measuring my clutch it is a 12" heavy duty I guess. It is a 304, 3/4 ton. Is a 12" necessary, can I use the 11"?
 
I just converted my t'ette from 11 to 12" and yes the 12 does take a lot more pedal pressure as I discovered yesterday in traffic.

How about the 10"? I have the bellhousing loose (meaning as far back as I can get it until it mates with the firewall!) and haven't been able to id which clutch size it is? Instead of waiting until I pull it before I can order it, if a 10" would fit just the same, I can order it an have the removal/install going over the same weekend.

(side note: its the 4cyl model)

Ok,how far in from the ring gear are the bolt's for your p.plate ? I can prolly tell ya what size it is if I knew that measurement,Jeff
