My take. BABS 2.0
When the original group separated from Scouts West we needed a new way of keeping in-touch. Someone made a phone call to Jeff - Voila! BABS had a home in the club section of the forum. Everything we needed to function was in-house. Good fun & lot’s of memories.
Original theory: Just an online club. Getting together at events was a bonus. It all started here. Check out some of the early posts beginning in 2009 and the by-laws Doc wrote (nailed it). At the time we had regular club meetings for locals in the Fremont area at the 50’s Diner. Planning threads for the Winter Nationals would have begun.
Hypothesis: “IF YOU BUILD IT THEY WILL COME”. Conclusion: And they did.
One post leads to 2; 2 leads to 4; yada yada.
For starters, we’ll see what direction this thread goes. Maybe a renewed interest is out there.

This is Jayson with the 74 d100 last minute but it looks like the Hollister trip is not happening this weekend but if anyone local would like to come out to Livermore hills out by Dell valle let me know 24 25 26th for a hangout come just for the day and there is limited camping email @hi74ih@gmail.com is private property and 2nd amendment friendly so bring both toys
