Seat belt help, please

I received my 2 point seat belt kit last week. Upon opening, I'm greeted by a document stating "IMPORTANT!" This tells me to go to "InstructionsNow.com" for the installation instructions. However, after several attempts, I constantly get an "Error" message stating the page cannot be reached or it doesn't exist. The included document states in the "FAQ's", the retractor may be stuck and that's "normal". "The instructions will show you how to reset the retractor." I've got to have the instructions to reset them!!! Please provide the instruction sheet for SafeTBoy kit STBSB3RSBK.

Additionally, the bolts provided to mount the 90* angle brackets to the floor and the retractor to the bracket will not pass through the holes in the brackets. I realize this is only a matter of drilling them out, but that removes the cad plating inside the holes. I don't like modifying a brand new product. Can you say "Rust starting?"

Sorry about the troubles. The tighter bent piece is a little tricky getting the bolts in, you have to place the bottom bolt in first loosely. After you do that, you can install the retractor and bolt it in. Then use an open-ended wrench to tighten the bolt into the floor. I do apologize about the hole being slightly smaller, that is probably due to the zinc coating. There is no way around it besides drilling it.

The retractor - there is an inertia switch in them to where they lock when the vehicle isn't level. Try to hold it level, and gently tug on the belt. I've never seen instructions on them.

I tried several times over the weekend to get the retractor end of one belt to release and operate properly. It would not consistently perform correctly on the bench. Therefore, I'm not confident installing and using them. At this point, I would like to return them. Is that possible?
 
If you are not satisfied with the product or it has an issue then yes you can return them. Make sure when bench testing them they are clamped to the bench and at the angle that they would be at when installed in a vehicle. We have been using these belts for years and I cannot recall ever having a bad one.

I'll try again. I made several attempts in several directions/angles. The retractor did work some of the time, just not every time. Thanks for the reply.

Zaedster states they have to be "level". Does that mean they should be installed "level" to the floor? The times i did get it to operate, the retractor/belt opening was level with the bench i had it on. My plan was to install them angled toward the front of the Scout, same as the OEM.

I spoke with Darren yesterday. I had only tried one retractor. I opened the other and it works like it should. We believe I have one defective retractor.
Darren checked stock and, unfortunately, there was no inventory at this time. I would like to return the defective unit. Will I need authorization to do so?

Would it be possible to get a picture of a belt installed for reference?

Call/email the sales team for a RMA for the defective unit. Sorry I don't have a picture handy, nor do I have a truck in the shop with a set currently installed.
