Fuel hose sizes

New member
looking for the sizes for all the fuel hoses. tank to vapor recovery. tank to carb etc..

My scout is not here to look myself, but want to order all the hoses and be ready to drop my tank.

also how much do i need of each size from a length standpoint.

All 5/16" fuel hose. I suggest you buy a 25' roll of rubber hose, a hose cutter tool, and buy a box of ten corbin clamps for the 5/16" rubber hose. Drop the fuel tank and remove each hose one at a time and cut a new one to match. We will attach all the hoses to the fuel tank and put it back in place, then work on getting the other end of them hooked up to the evap chamber, fuel line, vapor line, etc.
 
If the 2" filler hose from the gas tank to the filler neck has never been replaced you probably want to order one of those as well. They tend to get pretty brittle after 40 or so years.

Great point. Also get 5' of 1/2" hose for the fuel tank vent.
