Bummed I won't be there. I've gone every year for some time now.

Taking the family on a vacation, it just works out to be spring break.

Guys I am in! I plan to arrive on Friday and my wife will show on Saturday. Just want to confirm that the airstream will make it. Save me some space and buy me some hot dogs.
 
Jim: we discussed your airstream at the meeting last night. The consensus is that you will be ok. Just drive slow. If you do get stuck, you will have plenty of help.

I'm planning on making this. Planning on making it down early Friday at this point.

Anyone know if someone from IHPA will be making it down?
 
I'm thinking about coming down for a visit. Mine is actually a 24ft 1975 grumman olsen International ms1510 chassis step van (392) that has been converted to an rv. I've never been to this venue; can I make it to the location in the 2wd rv, or should I bring my Ford pickup?

P.s. I'm in the market for a used distributor. I intend to do a home brew efi conversion on this truck and I need a distributor core. Brand/type unimportant as long as the shaft, gear, and housing are intact. It will be bisected and mated to the upper half of a Ford distributor.

I've see bigger rigs than that in there . Althow it May get a little tight espicaly if you get there Saturday afternoon . You will have to stop at the ranger station at the lower ranch . Tell them you are going to the upper ranch 4wd park . They will give you the gate combo to the school house gate . Once your in head up the dirt road . There should be a b.a.b.s. Banner at the first branch to the left .this heads down to sycamore camp ground we should be right in the middle of the camp ground .
 
I will be arriving sometime Friday morning. Got the front spartan locker in this weekend, and tested it last night, just have to go through and double check everything is tight, ended up pulling the whole front axle out to install it. Glad we didn't go after it at scooters!
 
First and most of all, cheese needs a hot dog count. Lets light up the board, he is going to costco after work tonight. I will have 3 dogs. Remember post up or go hungry. My plan is to go down on Thursday. I will try be there by noon to set up camp. If you have some extra fire wood please try to bring some. Please drive safe and lets have a great time.
 
Okay, it is getting close!

Things are shaping up nicely and the weather should be good!

Joe is putting the final touches on the poker run for Saturday and should have maps and instructions ready to go.

We'll plan to get a movie on for the kids early in hopes they can watch at least one before the rangers shut it down.

I plan to go to costco for the chili, dogs, buns and fixins tomorrow after work so please post up... Below is a list of who I have so far:

I'll be there Friday about 7pm. Myself, the girlfriend, and the IH. Count us in for 4 hot dogs. I'll provide funds. I've never been there before, any special directions? Looking forward to meeting some people, doing the poker run, and checking out hollister!
