Selling my 71 1210 4x4 pickup. 345, borg warner auto(with deep pan and shift kit), NP205. D60 rear, closed knuckle drum d44 front(4.10 gears), ac, ps, manual brakes. 92,000 on the ticker so I'll assume its 192,000 since I bought it from the original owner.

Owners brother owned the IH dealership in walla walla washington, so this truck was special ordered with a few oddities, including manual brakes(new m/c 4 months ago), Travelall style lowback buckets and center console, the borg warner auto, etc... It was meticulously maintained up to the early 90's when the dealer closed, after that it was serviced at various shops. I have a stack of reciepts to go with it. Also owners manual and radio instructions, in original IH dealer envelope.

I have been driving this truck almost daily for the last 3 years. I can confidently say, everything on it works. Every dash light, every gauge(correctly), heater controlls, am radio, door locks(with original key). I have converted it to throttle body fuel injection using the hamilton system from the bp. It has a custom chip burned by bill hamilton himself. New alternator and 2 new batteries make sure it starts right up and starts every time. Dash is uncracked, rubber floor liner has one small crack on passenger side. All the glass is good and camper special slider back window functions well.

Body is as straight as an arrow except for one small dent on driver front fender. Bed has usual truck bed dings and scrapes but no rust, not even the stake pockets. Paint has come off under driver side filler cap also. Otherwise paints in great shape. West coast mirrors and electric brake controller make it a good towing rig. 7 pin trailer pug makes it easy to haul newer trailers/campers. Also has 5 pin plug in the bed for in bed camper.

I have a Chevy front axle to convert it to open knuckle disc brakes I will include, along with 75 d200 camper special front fprings to lift it slightly and new spring bushings.

Drivers side fuel tank has a small leak, so when I converted to FI, I just unhooked the switch valve and stopped using the driver tank. Also, removed passenger tank and cleaned/lined it with fuel tank liner. So only 1 tank functions now, but everything is still there and worked well when running a carb with both tanks. It does have the usual full size truck rust under the windshield corners and lower cab corners, although water does not enter the cab and cowel is still intact. Has dual exhaust but could use a new system in the next few years. Interior is in great shape but the seats are pretty worn from 42 years of butts on them, and could use a recovering.

This truck is comfortable, reliable, and a great rig. I would be confident in driving it across the country tomorrow. Has a clean and clear oregon title in my name. $4500 or trade for a Scout 80/800 in similar condition
