Hey kimball: do you have a shop press, if so could I use it to press my wheel bearings on my rear axle shafts when I bring the engine down Saturday?

I do have one, a 20 ton press. But it's kinda sick at the moment, due to the ram cylinder needs to be resealed/ repaired.

Bring them anyways and we can see what we can do

Well..... Gues you will miss out on the pole/lap dancers :winky:
not sure what we're gonna do the next day. But I will be here in the cave

Coals are about to start getting hot. :dita: already had several people swing by, but they couldn't stay long.

Not much planning happened. Only a few people showed up, through out the day.

Danny, good to meet ya. Awsome for what you did. I thought it was very kind of you in what you did, to go through the effort in helping another member.

Ronbgone and I spent a good portion of the afternoon putting the spare motor, that Danny droped off when he came down, onto a stand and cleaning up most of the caked on grease. After some bbq we didn't get much done, but we did start getting ronbgone's engine bay and old motor prepped to be pulled out of his '69 800a. Possibley could have pulled it out yesterday, but I was getting tired, and I didn't realy feal like pulling an all nighter. So it will be out and on a stand today, and if things go well with out interruptions, we might have the new used motor in today.

Glad everything worked out yesterday scooter. It was really nice meeting you and ron. Hope to see you all again and if you ever get up to lake county, come see me.

Once I start getting more mobile in my camo beast, I will be able to head up that way and let ya know.

Have been hoping to get the old motor out by now, but rusted out bolts in tight places tend to be difficult. Along with a p.o. Virus of a cross member that was/is in the way. In the mean time, I figured that I put ron on a candid camera theme

Interested in what you're putting in rob's 800? I'm constantly thinking about upgrading my 152, and am having a tough time deciding between going the low effort 196 upgrade, or biting the bullet and going all the way with a 4.3 vortec.

My t-90 with od and terra low gears is working great so I'm leaning towards just going with the 196, for an easy hp upgrade...

That little '69 800 belongs to ronbgone who looks like he was taking a nap under it. Currently has the 304 that ate a push rod and part of a rocker. We have another 304 that so far looks good. Will know more by the weekend.

Alright this is the 3rd time I've seen a post referencing me napping. You can clearly see my arm extended up ito the engine working.
