Attention north bay iher’s, and there’s a lot of ya out there.
The timing is right. Eric vanrenselaar is developing a plan to bring north bay iher’s a little closer together and give a “club” experience for those who would like to participate. Our south bay group has been getting together and doing stuff for 8 years. Ya know, it’s always good to have attendance at events, but the experience sweetens when you drive your truck.
The original intent of babs was to create a Bay area online club Joined together by “sovereign IH pods” throughout the region that interact with one another at group events. There are no dues, no bod, no elections, no politics, no obligations. If you can help out with the “pass the hat foundation”, that would be great. If you like a low key approach, then join in with erik and other babs folks. Now your IH fun begins.
Here’s what’s on the drawing board. A Saturday afternoon pizza party. Round table has the conference rooms?? Location will probably be in novato as it is centrally located for napa, richmond, san francisco and santa rosa. To help kick things off, there will be a few ihon gift certificates to be raffled off and some babs goodies to go along with it. Stickers and cards will be handed out.
A new thread with date and time will get posted later on. It could be within weeks or wait a few months until January, after the holidays. In the meantime, pass the word as more people will be made aware of what’s happening.

btw - I May throw in the mix of offering my shop space for a gathering. Maybe a gearhead wrench party getting rigs ready for a trail ride or cruise. I have a 2,600 sq ft shop space where I wrench and fab up stuff for both my scouts. I don't have a full vehicle lift, but do have an over head electric hoist, mig and arc welders, plasma cutter, just to name a few of what I could make available for those members in need
