1966 Scout $450 OBO

Sold!! Some one saved it from an uneccessary death.

Not mine, it's in the local craigslist. I haven't seen or called on it yet, just hate the idea of it getting scrapped.

1966 International Scout

All wheel drive (posi front and rear differentials) 1966 International Scout. 3 speed overdrive factory, manual transmission. Good body, rebuildable motor. Call frank at 503- three three nine- 6985 before Saturday 7/30 (or it goes for scrap). $450 obo

I called on this one today because, like you, I hated to see this go to the scrapper, especially with all the stuff it had on it (factory installed overdrive, etc.). The guy told me it was a either selling/scrapping this vehicle by Monday or losing the roof over his head.

He had 2 guys coming over to look at throughout the day. Hopefully one of them was able to save it. I'm in olympia, wa and if I had come up with a way to transport this vehicle, I would have gone and picked it up for the overdrive alone. Desperate times, though.

I saved it! It's going to silverton ore. For a short storeage @ my daughters, then to either red bluff or napa cal. For a redo, oh "oh waht's a Scout?"respectfully, david
