68 Travelall

I just went and looked at a 68 1000 series w/ the independent front suspension has the typical tailgate rust around one hinge for sure and the cowl rust seemed minimal. It has ac and automatic trans also the custom trim package. It does have v8 and 2bbl carb but didnt check the size the bees were a little angry. The trim and glass all looked in good shape,headliner falling down but the padded dash is cracked too. He is looking to get $800 for it if anyone is interested and not close to fairfield I can go back out and snap a few pics if you like. If it dosen't sell soon he will crush it

Fairfield? Where? The curved glass in the rear is worth 1/2 that price,then you have the w-shield,etc.Jeff

For cruising,them t'all's are really nice riding trucks,as long as you have good tires an shocks.had 1 when 16,'66 304-4spd.Jeff

Ed, david here 1100d from napa what kind of auto bw or 727? Also is all thae air parts there?

should be the bw in that one even though I didnt look that closely with all the wasps buzzing around but appeared the ac was there just not sure if everything functioned
