Help with I.D.

New commer here. I have a 1970 IH Scout model 800a aristocrat with a six cylinder engine and am asking for help in identifying what type of box? Is supposed to be on the firewall in the center of the photo. There are a several wires bundled up in electrical tape which I assume go in the box, if that is what it is called. I am trying to clean up my vehicle. Thanks for any assistance.

Have you not looked for a downloadable copy of the s800 schematic on our forum? We have a continuously evolving thread just for that subject here, look at post #8:
