It's time to sell. I'm moving soon and can't take my scouts with me. I've owned 15 scouts since highschool, and this is the one that shined...
1980 rallye:
345 that purrs. Hd motor mounts, 4 row radiator (recently serviced), rear dump exhaust manifolds, custom 3" exhaust with welded hd summit muffler and highflow catalytic converter. All smog equipment installed and working.
727 auto with low stall converter. Rebuilt about 10k ago by partsmike's brother (retired chrysler mechanic) Jeep tailhousing with Jeep Dana 300 t.case.
Front 44 is rebuilt with warn internal hub conversion, 4.10 r/p, detroit drop in locker, ball joints and tre's, cut-n-turned knuckles, hd tierod and draglink.
Rear 44/60 hybrid, rebuilt 60 center section and tubes with Scout 44 ends/ axles (have spare set of axles too!) rebuilt and tightly setup tracloc, 4.10 r/p
suspension is front SUA with mr. Scout shackle reversal, 4" springs and high clearance spring plates. Rear is SOA with Scout packs and full length add-a-leaf. Rancho 9k's. Ss front brake lines.
Body is in great shape....a few bumps and bruises. Poly mounts with a 1" spacer.
Interior was stripped and chemically treated prior to covering the whole inner tub with herculiner. Family cage was installed after the herc was dried.
Wheels/ tires: 15x10 alloys with BFG 35" mt's, plus matching fullsize spare.

the Scout is in santa cruz, CA. And has spent most of it's life in a barn or in the garage. The top is in fair condition....surface rust, but no holes. Asking $4999...
