We’re going to have a Binder Bee '11 planning meeting at ihcs on 2/11/11. The meeting will start at 6:30 and pizza and drinks will be provided.

We’re going to go over a timeline for when certain things need to get done, and who’s going to do them. If you have any concerns or suggestions for the 2011 Binder Bee this is going to be the place to voice those!

The only way that this show is possible is with the support and willingness of our club members, lets make this the best year yet!

After the meeting, for those interested, there will be a showing of king of the hammers 3: anarchy

here’s the trailer: youtube - 2010 griffin king of the hammers iii : anarchy trailer

See you there!

Talked with the t-shirt guy yesterday, hes got some great ideas. Multiple logos, lots of colors and style choices, all printed on site!

Great part is he's also a Scout owner!

We plan to be there ourselves for "information" purposes only and to eat the free grub.

This sounds great!!! Not having to spend almost $1000 and not having to deal with the leftovers. Where did you find him?

Well we had a great meeting with a ton of people (12 including me!!) got a lot done and got some good planning done.

This years going to be good.

better than last year?

International isnt making any new rigs, and our long time members are only getting older. I would only hope that every year we could learn from the last and find new ways to make the show bring in new vendors and entries.

So to answer your question, I hope so!

So far every year has been better then the last. So as long as dboy doesn't f-it up it should be awesome. :dita:

but seriously. Having been in on lots of planing sessions over the years. I was extreamly excited to see such a great turn out for this meeting. The real great part is that probably half of the people that showed, were completly new to the Binder Bee planing staff. Which means fresh ideas and energy. Which means great show!

Over the last three years we (especially kathy!) have tried to set every thing up pretty much using standardized formatting. Yes,....much goes into the actual planning, but the process used is well-defined now.

The big issue is always ..."what is powerland doing this time". So that needs to be handled real soon!

Kathy and I are here to offer answers to questions regarding "stuff". We're not gonna be involved in the show itself and plan to be simple visitors like the rest of the bunch. And for me that means a good-sized amount of IH-related stuff for the swap meet this time!

We were also surprised to see newer members become a part of the bee krew!

Good job man! Keep it going!

As a member of the peanut gallery my opinion and a dollar bill will almost purchase a plain cup of coffee.

Having said that, the sooner the registration forms are out the better.

If I can get it on the calendar with $$$ paid it will be much more difficult to get another activity scheduled for the same weekend.

Working on it, should have the press release done this weekend and the registrations done the following weekend.

do we have the official artwork done? I am eager to see the final design.
