Looks like the brent's might not make it. Our first grandchild is suppose to make it's debut at anytime and you just can't miss that.

Well if everything goes according to plan the obtinario family will be attending this year.

I sure hope someone will be bringing some cake.

When I told kd we were going to a party tonight her only question was, "cake?"

leave it to a 2-year old to get right down to the basics as to what is important. :)

Christmas party was a blast once again. Thanks to all who came out to make it so. Also thanks to linda and lyle for aranging use of the church and kitchen.

I didn't get any pictures of the night but I did take two the next day at the IHSTO tree cut. This year was the best turn out for it so far. Which was awesome because all of the $ from the tree sales is going to the IHSTO adopted family. We raised some serious $$. I will have the final numbers at the jan meeting. Thanks to all of you for this. I have said it before and I'm going to say it again this club is awesome. a great group of friendly, accepting and generous folks. That never cease to make me proud... ...thank you.

Reserving the church is the easy part since linda runs the office. She just puts it on the calendar before anyone else has a chance. Being members of the church has its benefits.

There were several church members around the building during our party. They all mentioned to us on Sunday how nice and how friendly everyone they encountered from IHSTO was. It's comments like these that make linda and I proud to be members of such a great group of IH folks. :icon_biggrin:

next year's party will be put on the church calendar next month if it isn't already.

I would say the food this year was the best that I can recall (I've been to 6 or 7, so that's pretty good!!). Quality, quanity and variety. Mmmmmm..... So good.

Thanks everyone for going above and beyond this year and making it a great party.

My thanks to all of you that put together the Christmas party. It was a great time of food and fellowship.

And a special thanks to whomever it was that brought the cake. It made kd's day!

The only odd note was I have to ask why we, since we were some of the only washingtonians at the party, received the uo and osu Christmas ornaments. Orange and green clash with purple and crimson.
