did you make it home with the "escape from phelps mountain" truck? Last I heard from you on this was "oh, this ain't good. Something is wrong, I will talk to you later". Later has come and gone. I hope your not sleeping in a ditch some where near albany.:nono:

I'm just a few miles as the duck flies away and I offer 24 hr IH roadside assistance with a bunk house to boot. He knows the number :gringrin:
 
He is probably grounded -- and can't play on the internet with his friends...

That is what happens to me when I have a 'close call' playing trucks. :gringrin:
 
No friends...just relations, preferably with wealthy old hags.

We made it home around midnite...it weren't purdee! I dam near aborted the deal at the intersection in downtown silverton!

More to come including pics! I'll start a new thread for phase II, all I can say is...this bitch will never flat tow to kintuck!

We've been gone all day and nite dealing with ken's ambulance and checking out that t'all that will be a legal lien sale on Saturday. Onnena dave's buddies, tracy, owns American spirit hot rods in eugene and it's in his storage lot. The guys there are doing work that looks like Jeff and Darren's output...totally blows me away!

We did manage to grub down at the apple peddler in lebanon last nite greg, got there at closing time and they held the door open for us...what a great chow house!
 
Hey there Mike.... I found you!

I just got back from my across america (I only made it to texas) trip in my :mad5: kia:mad5: and I'm so tired and wore out.... Plus I brought back another native texan :winky: my uncle!!!!

He's still amazed with the mountains and scenary... Plus we went out and picked blackberries... Which he also thought was amazing. He says I'm jaded because I dont talk about how beautiful oregon is... I think it's because it's my second home and well, I just kinda belong here.

I got a new dog, dunno if I told you. Her name is bailey, she's pit and great dane, and absolutely gorgeous.

Gabe starts school on the 3rd into 5th grade, I am starting to feel old. Oh well....

I'm off to make blackberry wine... Weeee!

Kimme my leetle chickadee...welcome to the nest here!

I got yore message about parkin' yore ride up here I guess way after you had already got throwed outta sprangtuckee. Had all kindsa cellphone issues (now on #4) durin' that time and couldn't blow no smoke or receive any smokesignals.

You need blackberries??? Neighborcarol made about three gallons of jam last week in our kitchen while she was up here and that was just off the few spots where the berries are worth a crap. Many more now, they seem ta be a bit late this year. Come on up and git 'em before the dawgs all eat 'em up! Looks like we'll have berries all tha way through ta frost as tha sun angle changes.

Gabe needsta git up here onna satidy and catch a mess o' trout right off the bank! Tha raft is still on tha ceiling where it lived last year!

You planning on teaching him how? I don't do fishing cause well, I dont eat'm and I dont like dealing with the hooks... We do go dog fishing in the back yard with a toy on the end instead of a hook.

I just May take you up on the blackberry picking, being as I went to the hatchery a few days back not far up the road past you... I'm up to about 2 gallons of berries now... But I look like I got thrown into a prickly pear patch.

Oh and as for the guy who asked about my pup...here is one of her as a baby

I'm takin' a visitor-type kid up to the hatchery today!

I kin have gabe castin' a fly rod insidea 30 minutes...he's a quick lern! Planter trout are swarmin' in the front yard right now!

And kimme...drew's gotta big ol' newffee that spent 30 days in tha dawgjail falsely accused of killin' chikins five miles away. Only problem is....obie ain't hardly fast enuff to git in outta tha rain...much less chow down on fresh caught pullets!

Obie don't need no ladder...his is built in.
 
Well I guess I'll bring my little blue skateboard up there tomorrow...

I'm glad I'm missing the hatchery run today, cause that dino fish stares at me... I swear he's sizing me up...:icon_domokun:

I should go out and try to start up roxanne but, I'm kinda scared cause I've been gone for over a month and no one has gone out and even touched her at all. :mad2:
