Well, after much work I am finally getting around to showing this build-up. This is a bit of a frankenstein and International purists might object. I have to give props to Jeff and his crew for helping me in more ways than one. He truly is a great inspiration and I couldn't have done it without his advise. Thanks, guys! I purchased this Scout from the original owner in las vegas. With that said, here is what I am hoping to accomplish:

1. SOA and reverse shackle using CPT parts from ihonlynorth
2. Hysteer setup using partsmike setup
3. Custom built Dana 44 (hub to hub) with GM disk brakes from ihonlynorth - reusing the rear Dana 44
4. Replaced all floors (damn rust) using diamond plate for the rear
5. Chevy 383 stroker with a turbo 400
6. Lokar shifter
7. Stock Dana 20 - looking to do a twin stick setup (get those parts, Jeff)
8. Steel wheels from procomp (flat black series 52 I think)
9. Most likely toyo m/ts
10. Custom built tranny and engine mounts.
11. Corbeau sport seats
12. Custom dash from ihonlynorth
13. Autometer gauges
14. Aluminum radiator and tranny cooler
15. Painless wiring

I started this ~8 months ago. I'll have some pics up shortly.

Alright, here are some pics of my progress.

It was a summit radiator. The dimensions were close to 25x19 I think. I can double check on that if you would like. It is full floating and required a little fabrication but I think it will work well.

Here are some updated photos of my "in progress" build. Still a long ways to go but it is legally driving. I will post some engine photos shortly.

Man, that's a great looking project. Pretty solid chunk to work with. What gears did you put in?
Oh, and thanks for the pics. Makes the rest of us feel inspired!

Nice build, I really like how you broke the diamond plate for the rear step. It gives it a nice radious instead of having to weld all the way across.
