Timing out

I can't seem to stay logged in for more than 10-15 mins or so (I haven't actually timed it). Does the site time out automatically if static for a certain amount of time? Is this adjustable?

Sometimes it logs out while I'm reading or posting to a thread.

Any help?

it should not be doing that.

Anyone else experiencing this????

A week or so after I posted this problem it went away. I assumed it had been taken care of. I don't log in unless I want to post, which isn't very often, so maybe it is still happening. I will test it.

So I just did a ten minute test. I started a reply, waited ten minutes, tried to post and I was logged out. Here is the error I received:

you do not have permission to perform this action. Please refresh the page and login before trying again.

While I was waiting to post I visited my email aplication, but left this window open in the background. At some point I was logged off and all of the info I typed was lost.

So apparently it is still happening.

76,
Todd will have to say if I am wrong but could the cookie folder be full or might cookies be disabled?

Are you checking the remember me box? Try logging on with that box checked and log out when finished posting. Logging out should delete the cookie and not log you in next time you visit.

Robert,

I don't think it's a cookie problem as I manage the internet options pretty regular. I do not typically check the remember me box, but I did this time.

I'll test it again. Thanks.

Ok. I'm trying again, just to be sure. This time I logged in again without checking the remember me box.

Start: 0848 watch time
end: 0858 watch time

result: did not log out.

Apparently it is fixed.
