Hollister Jan. 22-24

I need to find a tow rig as my tow rig is on its last leg. Other than that the Scout is on the trailer ready to go.

is your Scout finished yet?

No. :cornut: I have all the parts though. I will finish the front end swap this week, and the hydro-assist should arrive sometime in a couple of days. I have the steering box torn down right now and I will drill and tap it today. I will also swing by the sb driveline to get the cv put on my rear shaft. I still have a couple of weeks though so it should all work out. Not having school for a couple more weeks allows me more time than what I know what to do with. Well, almost. :icon_wink:

I will write it on the calendar, but not sure if I will make it or not... It will be a last minute thing if I do.

X2.

I'm just finishing up my cage upgrade/seat mounts.

I'll be swapping in 60s soon & don't know when I'll be pulling my old axles, or if I will have the funds...

I'll be there the 23rd. Unless a snow run opens up that weekend. I would like to try to get in one snow run this year.

Depending on the rain I guess. There's no way that I want to camp in the rain. I had to do that too many times for my last job. But, if it's not raining I "should" be there. I was planning on going up Friday afternoon sometime, my schedule is extremely flexible right now. Would you guys be bringing the Scout and the heep or what?

My rig is in pieces (kinda).... So I'm out...

Do to last minute modification's we wont be making it.

My scouts starter went out again.

I'm also pretty shir my distributor is bad. I don't really know enough about it to be shir. It doesn't fire on all the plugs and the inside of the cap looks like it has been melted an chipped away. I think from running too re-tarted and the rotor coming up an hitting it or because the condencer went bad.:out: also from where the points ride on the cam the nylon has been worn down. The cam no longer has edges to it anymore, now it just looks like a badly stripped an bolt head or almost as if the edges have been filed off an rounded. :icon_sad:

if I had to change out the distributor. I wanna know how you guys that are running the h.e.I.-d.u.I. Distributors like them. Ive also heard of an electronic thing that replaces the points in your stock distributor. How well does that thing work
