Some of you have met my father in law, ron, anyway he has been bitten by the IH bug and has been yearning to own a Scout again. Evidently he owned a baby Scout many, many years ago.
He bought the zombie Scout a few months ago and had planned to pretty it up and drive it as a somewhat daily driver.
you can read more about the zombie here: http://www.forums.IHPartsAmerica.com/I-h-s-t-o/687-Mike-n-Mike-Monday-report.html I know the zombie isn't much to look at, but it had a new motor and beings ron is a retired autobody guy, he figured he could save it. That is until I found him a very nice 1979 Scout.

The picture isn't much to look at, it was dark, and I took it with my phone, but let me tell you this a very straight, clean Scout. The po was having difficulties installing the new to him engine and decided it had sat long enough. Like I said this Scout is clean and the po bought it not long after it had fresh paint. It is dirty, but when I rubbed the muck off it, she shined. The interior is in fair condition and it even has newer exhaust, complete with headers. (mr. Mayben you can see that there is a very nice looking prestolite dist. Laying on the passenger fender.)
our plan is to transplant zombie's new motor into the red and do the ihcs thing, part out zombie. Now zombie is an 810 and May be worth something to someone looking for that particular piece of IH history. So if someone wants to save it speak now or it is gone.
