Chris and amber,

I am very sorry to have missed your baby shower. We have an annual burn and brew festival and this year it happened to fall on the same date as your shower. I knew I wouldn't make it but I thought I would make it to the meeting to bring you a gift and my well wishes. Unfortunately a water pipe broke that morning and it took all my resources to get it fixed and I had to miss the meeting. You can't burn without some way to put it out.

Again, I am sorry. I will drive up to your casa and hand deliver my sentiments Friday evening or sometime during the weekend if that works out for you guys.

In the mean time I thought I would post you some pics of burning boat 2009.

I thought that's what Scout and truck carcasses are for. Besides, they got an empty fridge to play with and lots of broken glass.
