***Saturday Oct 17th Road Rallye NOW with PICs**

This coming Saturday will be the 3rd of the month which means road rallye. This Saturday’s trip is plan is to head up the clackamas river and come out at detroit. Pack a picnic lunch and the family. This run will be doable in any rig that runs. :p
we will leave silverton at 9:00am form the home place. We will also be able to meet up with people at 10:00am at the quick stop market in estacada on hwy 224 right before the intersection of 211 and 224. If you plan on coming please pm me and let me know. :icon_up:

Right now, work is a good thing, even when it interferes with the rest of life.

We will be meeting everyone in estacada, coming in from oregon city, past mciver state park, with the woodards in the back seat.

That would be the same day as my 37th birthday.. Of which I will be taking my tech/gen exam and as promised by my wife I will be working on my Travelall.

I need to get my junk on the road and I need to take any opportunity I get to work on it.. And those opportunities don't come often these days.
 
We had a great road rallye today. We ended up with 4 scouts and a Travelall. Bryce and his brother-in-law joined us. This was their first time coming to any club event. So it was great to meet them both. Richard johnson and his son joined us in his Scout. Lyle and linda brought their Travelall and ken woodard and his wife road as passengers with them. We left the get & go in estacada and headed to ripplebrook ranger station. We stopped at the ranger station to chat a bit. It was also here that tyson and bryce had to turn around due to afternoon family engagements. The rest of us headed on toward detroit. We drove to elk lake to have our lunch. The weather up until now was great. About 10 min before we stopped it started to rain and continued until we pulled into the ihcs. I had a blast and I think the next IHSTO road rallye will be even better. Thanks to all who came out today. Some pics form the day…

It was a lot of fun! Thank you for having us. What a beautiful drive, although we would've liked to continue on to dodge lake with the rest of you. Next time we'll plan better for it. Can't wait to join you next month!
