Damages include: two burnt plug wires one resulting in a fire that I quicklly took care of!!! Sorry about the mess in your engine bay Mike. And I managed to blow out my passenger front hub and axle u-joint.

All in all, a great run:icon_up:

Had a good time wheeling around the dunes. Somehow I was the only one that didn't have any trouble.... :d

Nice little lunch spot.

Fire! Yes - it really required an extinguisher.

Ouch. Yes the whole hub broke.

More ouch - at least the hub broke before the rest of the u-joint failed.

Super ouch -- all the pieces of the hub after being removed.

The clouds are rolling over a cape (a ridge of land that sticks out into the ocean, this one is maybe a mile long) they rolled over it all day and yet - less than a mile away we stayed sunny and amazing all day!!

History lesson for the day. If you hike to the end of the cape you can see the site of a wwii plane crash!

I think I fixed my fire causing problem...:hand:

my cpi was leaking raw fuel into the cylinders. Causing it to run super Rich. To the point of having glowing headers. Which in turn set fire to pulg wires.:mad5:

so I replaced the cpi "spider" I have a little more tuning to do and some pulg wires to rebuild but it seems to be a whole lot better. The true test will be Saturday at the mud drags...

Glad you got it figured out, but im still going to carry that fire extinguisher just in case:ciappa:

someones gotta be there to get out and push.:dita:

Better you then me. I always use the excuse "I can't push, I am too busy spotting and shooting pictures. Besides if you would have listen to me you wouldn't need a push!" learn it!
