steering joint

how do I install new bjorgensen steering joint on to steering gear?

Loosen and remove the two bolts on the ragjoint. Loosen and remove the three bolts on the steering box. Slide the steering box forward which will allow removal of the ragjoint. If you see a 'nipple' that's nearly 3/8" long and 3/16" in diameter on the steering box input shaft it will need to be trimmed off. Install the borgeson joint in a way that the set screws are not on the flat area of the input shaft and tighten down on the set screws. Reinstall the three steering box bolts and you're done. Don't forget to keep the wheels straight ahead as well as the steering wheel centered while performing this task.
