Pushrod length

I'm building a 345 for my 76 terra Scout. I have punched it out 30 and decked the block but not to zero. Comp cam 286h, 218 duration on both valves 1200-5200 rpm range. Mild port and polished intake manifold and starting on the new heads. Plan on laying a edlebrock 650cfm on top. T18 (close) tranny 3.73 gears front and back.

I had to find me some new heads because the old ones were cracked but finally I have a set. But I want to put my old boat style rockers arms with the ball-ball pushrod ends, instead of the cup-ball style pushrods. I'm not sure on the length of the pushrod I need. Can someone give a man a hand here?

Also have some pics of the project that I've just started but I'm not sure how to post them to the sight.

By not quite zero decked do you mean about the pistons are .010 in the hole? Are you using .040 thick composition head gaskets?

The stock length b/b pushrods will work fine. I will measure one after I get home. The 304 used a push rod that was .800 shorter than your 345 so don't make that mistake.

Yeah .010 from the top of the block

Ihon has both new and reconditioned pushrods of the ball/ball configuration for 196/345/392 in stock every day.

Additional inventory of reconditioned push rods (all four variations/part numbers) are on the way to ihon right now from my location.
