Dana 20 twin stick setup

:winky: thinking of setting up my second Dana 20 for a twin stick setup. Does anyone have any pics of how this is done, or is it a simple bolt on and ready to go. Would I have to remove my transfer case to do this?

I am thinking of purchasing the setup of the pic I have attached.

Your pic doesn't work. Depending on the kit you buy some are a direct bolt on while others need modification.

I believe the Dana 20 is the same as a 300. It has to come out and apart to remove the pills that lock the shifter from shifting improperly! You can just install the shifters but will not have true twin stick shifting like rear 2wd low or front wheel only.

I did my Dana 300 twice! First time it popped out of rear wheel drive all the time when in 4x4. I called the place in CA. That has all the old Dana parts and the guy there knew about this and had same size springs with much stronger tension and they worked to hold it in gear.

When you do this you can shift one to low and one to high!!! Hitting the gas then could be disaterous...

Um, you do not need to pull the interlock pill. The only thing you wont have if you don't pull them is front 2wd high.
I know cause thats how I'm running mine now.
