Swapping Tailgate Straps for F-150 Cables

Hello. I want to replace the stock Scout II tailgate straps with modern cables. I have the 83-96 F-150 cables. Does anyone know what mounting hardware I need to complete this swap? I am attaching a photo of the stock hardware with the cable for reference.

Remove the bolt add a small washer

So unbolt them and get the thread size?

I can take a photo of how I did it tomorrow.

Stock everything even the wave washers.
