Xtreme 4x4 springs?

I wanted to know if you knew what springs ian ended up using on the 800 he built on the show? I think he said you provided them. I have a stock 63 Scout 80. Found a shop to do an d44 swap for me. I think I am going to stay spring under axle and use your universal reverse shackle kit. I'm guessing with 4" Scout II lift springs I will be able to clear 33"x10.5" tires? Just wondered what he used because I know he had to switch them because the were too tall. Hope I put this post in the right place tried a search and couldn't find the info. Should have asked you on the phone last week...took off my carb and dizzy to mail to mr. Mayben tomorrow.

Sorry dan but I do not give out part numbers that we use to purchase from. I will say that they are Chevy springs. However comparing the height of the xtreme Scout with a spring under set up is kind of like comparing apples to oranges.
 
Confused...you do not give out part numbers that you use to purchase from. Does this mean that if I tried to order the springs you won't tell me what he used? Is it some deal you worked out with the show, are they unsafe, or top secret springs? I figured that was why those shows always get new parts so people like me would call in and order what ever they used on the show. I understand about your apples to oranges comment, but I figured since I'm just trying to clear 33"x10.5" vs his 37" claws the same springs would work. If I understand correctly SOA gives you about 6" lift compared to SUA. Maybe I should have just asked that I am planning on ordering your universal reverse shackle kit. I want to clear 33" tires I need all new springs also what do you suggest? Not trying to be a jerk it's just that the shop nearby I found to do the work builds score race trucks and buggys and they don't know what to have me order....they just weld real nice and hopefully know pinion angles.

If you want to buy the springs they can be purchased from us. However if you want to buy the springs elsewhere I am not going to give you the part number that I researched and found that worked well with our Scout's as this does not keep me in business. If your going to order our universal reverse shackle kit it is just that a universal kit. It is up to the end user what leaf spring he or she chooses. Or you can purchase our long travel kit - CPT long travel front suspension system - International Scout parts Which includes the leaf springs, reverse shackle kit and shocks just as you saw on xtreme. As for rear springs I do not have much to offer. If you want bolt in I do have a 2" lift spring that is available. Otherwise if you want to upgrade from the 1 3/4" wide leaf springs in the rear I unfortunately do not have any springs that I could recommend.
 
Thanks Jeff...that is just what I needed to know. I didn't see that you offered that kit. I was not trying to go around you just dont know where to start...and sorry for the double post I didn't read that they had to be approved by a mod.
