WTB: Scout 800, 800a, 800b

Hi everyone. I'm new to the board here, but a long time member at binder bulletin, and binderplanet. I'm looking to buy one or two of several types of scouts either a restored, original in need of restoration, or a nice original Scout preferably 1970-71 800a or 800B. I'd prefer a 3.73 gear if I can get it, and I prefer originality or tasteful mods. I'm hoping to find one by spring. I check craigslist daily and the other Scout classifieds on the boards but if you see something and want to add the link here that would be great. Color preferences are, not black, silver or red. I love metallic blues and greens, also white and the Scout cream colors. I'm in chicago but I'm willing to fly anywhere for the right truck. Thanks, josh

Thanks for the link Scout papa. I had my eye on it about an hour after it was listed. It sure has plenty of character!
 
Yeah I'd love to have a 4 popper again, but I have no idea what the gear ratio is in that Scout and it has a reserve. They probably got it for nothing and have a 3k dollar reserve on it.
 
Well there are quite a few up right now but a lot of the guys here have quite a few resources so maybe someone will have something that fits the bill. This is definately the place to ask.
 
Yeah it seems to be. I have asked around and had several offers but I am kind of picky and I know what I am looking for so the search goes on.
