Wreck

My good friend and the only other person I know into IH's lost his Scout on Friday. It was a 79 traveler that had been totally redone it was beautiful, no rust and new paint all new interior rebuilt suspension, Dana 44's, trans, engine and steering. It was his daily driver and was headed back to work after lunch with his wife were they had talked about a wreck her cousin had had. He stopped for a person turning in front of him the guy behind him did not. He was hit at 50 miles an hour and was shoved into on coming traffic over the top of a bumper pull trailer and head on into a lady driving a car. The Scout doesn't look "to bad" but the other two vehicles are horrible. He walked away with a few bruises. It broke the seat over backwards when he was hit from behind and then flew forward and hit the steering wheel. The frame is bent and the tub is tweaked, I am glad that he was okay but am sad for him and his loss. I will get some pictures up in the next few days. So if any of you want to sell your fixed up traveler he will probably be looking. Also if anyone knows how to deal with insurance company's and getting the price he wants out of his traveler and no he does not have all of the receipts as he told the insurance he wants them to replace it with one just like it.

Sorry to hear about that, to bad it couldn't have been someone else's dime a dozen car instead of a Scout there isn't enough of them around here as it is. I will keep an eye out for a replacement.
