I replaced the wheel lugs on my driver side Scout II Dana 44. For some reason the lug is not holding the hub. The lugs catch good on the rotor but not the hub. It was not an issue on the passenger side.

Will it sit well after I mount the tire and use an impact to tighten?
 
You replaced the wheel studs? They are the male threaded ones that press in the hub from the back side and accept the nut that holds the wheel on...

If they are not pressing in and holding tighr they need to be addressed. Either the studs are the wrong size at the knurl or the holes in the hub are over sized.
 
These are new studs and fit properly in the rotor but don't hold the hub. Its as if the hubs are a bit oversized. The hub is bolted to the spindle so that won't cone loose and the wheels tightens everything together and would hold everything from falling off. Does anyone have any suggestions?
