What's a 1210 light?

I friend of mine just got a '75 1210 light pickup. What is a "light" pickup? The truck was owned by a former IH mechanic who passed away several years ago and seems to be in good condition.

For 1975 it should be a 200, not 1210. Is it maybe a 1973 or earlier?

Light is short for light line. IH had three divisions back then - heavy , medium and light line. Pickups are from their light line division.

Sounds like I'll need to look at the truck to get the straight scoop. Apparently there is a badge on the truck that says light on it. I've never seen one of those.

If the badge is on the front fender, I bet it says "eight" indicating a v-8 engine.
