I just bought a Scout half cab top rust free for my Scout. It was painted and has new rubber around the glass. I need to know how to remove that rubber without messing it up so I can reinstall it. Thanks

Pull the gasket strip outta the middle. May need some pliars to get her started. (you will not be able to reuse this. Ihonlyn has them for about a buck a foot)
carefully lift the glass out-
the gasket should be able to just pull off the frame rails, unless-
the po put a mastic in there and your screwed like I was and your going to have to rip, tug, pull, curse, and get out the wallet.
Suggestion-
lots of guys pull windows. Surprisingly a lot of them have bucks to buy the 75 dollar new one. You May find a good used one out there.
