Warner headlights

I recently purchased two Warner headlights from IHParts, both quit working while driving. Not sure exactly when it happened as it was daylight. They were only a few months old. I bought two standard headlights from O'Reillys and they work fine. They do not appear to be blown. I haven't bench tested them yet, that is todays project.

The headlights are connected from one corrector to the other, so the issue might have been a connection problem that you resolved when you swapped them. It could also stem from the dimmer switch.

In my experience with IH vehicles, I've always used the dimmer switch as a signal for relays to avoid relying on direct power through the dimmer switch. Halogen lights consume a significant amount of wattage, which is something to consider.
