Waggy Axle

I aquired a front Dana 44 out of a 78 waggy. My plan is to put it under my green Scout and I am going to stay SUA. All I really need is a quick run down on what I need to convert it to 5 on 5 1/2. (what year Ford rotors and hubs, can I use the waggy calipers, etc...)

thanks,
monte

Remove 6-lug waggy hub/rotors.

Replace with 5 on 5.5 f150/Bronco rotors. Year range is (from what know) just about any, '78-like '96 or whenever. Most of them I've played with I've gotten from the pull-a-part off ttb equipped trucks.

Everything else should be bolt-on, reuse callipers, reuse backing plates, reuse locking hubs, bearings......

Depends if your axle has "small bearing" or "large bearing" spindles.

The fort hubs/rotors will work provided you have the small bearings.

If you don't, you need to swap small bearing spindles as well...
