VPOC Wiring? What to do with?

Looking for advice on what to do about wiring for vpoc sensor on the back of my 345 passenger side head. One of the tabs for the sensor broke off and I cannot find a replacement sensor. Is this thing critical? What will happen if I leave it disconnected? Should I close the loop by joining the two wires? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Is this the '79 traveler/345 that has been converted to efi using the GM harness/throttle body system?

If so, do nothing with the vpoc as you no longer have a carburetor or any emissions device that is functional in an oem mode. That item served to control the choke pulloff during warm up. After 1977 production, the emissions shit on these vehicles changed with every model year and market they were intended for.

Since none of the oem harness is used now except to provide a power feed to the efi system, all that remains is the control circuits for the starter/ignition switch and the neutral safety switch/backup lamp stuff.
