For those of you who haven't been able to make it to a meeting and as a reminder for those who have, I wanted to post up a few events I've been promoting that I think the club would like to attend.
The first is in April
corvallis swap meet, April 28th
7am-when everyone leaves (vendors typically stay till 1 ish)
benton county fairgrounds.
110 sw 53rd st corvallis, or 97333
this is a good swap meet and May have some different items as it's in the more rural portion of the valley, and it's being head up by one of our members. People who drive their classics get priority parking.
The second event is in May
on May 11th is the papa's toy box open house. It's a cruise-in/open house where a collector opens up his personal collection for everyone to see. Per a club member there is also a local speed shop that opens up and shows off cars as well about 1/2 mile down the road. Entry is a donation to the doernbecher children’s hospital. There is no car entry, no awards, just an open house to benefit doerbecher's. It runs from 10am-3pm at 495 n. Holladay street, cornelius, or 97113.
