"UNBOUND" Scout 80

Ran across this hot roded Scout 80 while surfing. Kind like the look with the chopped top and all. Not much IH left in it but still cool. Now stick a blown IH 450 inch sv in it with a moonyham 6-71 blower sticking out of the hood and I'd drive it.

That thing is pretty sweet, at least he kept the body lines. Other than chopping the top and filling the the tailgate it's a pretty stock "looking" body.

Yeah, even kept the body panel parting line reveals.

I think I would do a period gasser look with magnesium halibrand wheels and repop vintage styled rubber.

But could you see a blower with a 4 port hillborn injector or even a bug catcher on it.

Looks sweet. I'd throw a turbo gn 3.8 into it. It would be nice to hear the whine.

and rico you are absolutly right on to have a style you like. Kinda like 31 flavors, everybody has one they like.

Ed "big daddy" roth. He is huge piece of what we are doing here. "car kulture" owe's people like ed roth a life time of thanks.
While all don't get his style, he did make people stop and say, "hummmmmmmmmmmm".

From reso IH, rock crawling IH, lead sleds, rat rods, hot rods, slampalas cruisers, import tuners, drifters etc etc etc can attribute a bit of there existance to the guys and gals that went way out to further car kulture.
