Turn Signal

I've searched and read through the turn signal issues that May relate to mine but all seem to be ground related. My 72 Scout II is having a driver side issue. Both front and rear turn signals of the passenger side work fine. Driver side rear comes on both does not flash. Hazzard only work on passenger side driver front has nothing including marker light. I replaced bulbs and socks with new but yielded no change. I removed main connector at bulkhead and testing power at each terminal with amp meter. Horn relay has power, headlights have power, passenger terminal has power but driver turn signal terminal has nothing.

This leads me to believe the socket s not the issue because no power is reaching the terminal at the firewall. Would a bad turn signal switch cause such an issue. Because the rear light comes on but does not flash I wonder why that would not be effected with a bad turn signal switch.

Any suggestions?

There should be a connector "near" the steering column that connects the wires (turn signal / horn) in the steering column to the wiring harness.

Have you checked the power at this point?

I assume you checked / cleaned the grounds on the driver side when you replaced the sockets.
