my 73 Scout with 345 and 727 auto 3 speed transmission is slipping. Here is what is going on. I have been getting a slight slip when when it shifts from 2 to 3. It would not slip if I was really on the gas. So this weekend I drained the tranny and changed out filter and atf. After put everything back together. I took it out for a test and now its slipping really bad form 2 to 3. It shifts great from 1 to 2. Dose this mean I need to pull the tranny and rebuild? Or are there a few things I can check or do to try and fix? Thanks again for any help.

. I have been ready the thread on how to adjust the bands. I will go back and drain the tranny again and try and see if I can work on adjusting the bands and hope and pray that will fix my trans problem. Thanks for getting back to me on this.
