Front is a d44. If the cover bolts on the rear are 9/16" heads, it's a d60 or similar. 1/2" are d44 (it'll match the front cover shape too) in person the d60 looks like the d44 but bigger. The tcase looks like the divorced one in my '68 t/a that I was told is a 202, but I'm not sure.

Hi,

if that transfer case has the shift rails vertical, which it appears to have, instead of horizontally positioned, then it's the np 202 transfer case. That t/case is the predecessor and is actually larger, heavier, and stronger with larger gears and shafts than the newer and more common NP205.

However, if you twin-stick it, you end up with h-n-l on one stick and front axle engage and disengage on the other stick.

Hope that helps with the t/c id.

Steve
