trans mount

I have a '67 800 v-8 that had a t-90 three-speed. I am switching that out for a t-18 four-speed. I am stumped by the set-up of the trans mount. The frame cross-member has a piece bolted to the top of it, kind of a shallow inverted "u". Then there is the shallow "v" that cradles the trans. Obviously this piece has to be bolted to the cross-member piece. However, the bolt holes do not line up. Am I missing another piece? Does the four-speed use a different shallow inverted "u"? Of course, I could just drill new holes in the cross-member piece, but I would rather set the thing up as it was intended. Pineneedle

On a Scout II there is no mount on the t18 transmission. There is a z plate mounted to a boss on the adapter for the d20 xfer case. I just switched to a t19 which has a boss cast into the trans and no z plate is required. I don't know what was used by the factory on a 800 with a t18 or if that combination was even available.
