Total Idiot admision and question.

So I start hearing a noise on the way home, and a wheel has gotten loose. By the time I can pull over and check, the studs are stripped.
This is on a 3/4 ton pickup, d44, it is a 66, but the 8 lug wheels and d44 say the axle is a 70.
I have one of the studs out, and took it to nappa, they measured it and say they don't have it!
.685 and the largest width they have is .650? (this is a what I remember from an over the phone conversation with no pen)

any ideas on finding these?

You should be able to find some -- a good dormann dealer?

Summit racing has some -- they only show dormann with 1/2-20. Moser(?) in 5/8-18 (which I assume is what you need).

I do not know why dormann would not have a 5/8-18.

Hth

or, find a better napa store (or napa clerk). I was bored and checked the napa online -- for hd truck there were 388 parts (under wheel stud) -- which they said had to be purchased at a store..... Their catlog sucks -- no info / refinement in the search -- found some with a knurl size of .81 - .82

if they did not have some .685, I am sure they could have ordered some...

Napa's calipers were busted. Every time the checked they came up with a different size. New calipers showed a size of .65.
