Torque the inner spindle nut to 50# while spinning the hub/rotor/wheel. Then back off the nut 1/4 turn. If it seems to loose - tighten it up a touch, but not a full 1/4 turn. If it still seems wrong, start over and get a good 50# while it can still spin.... The hub/rotor should spin but not loose or too tight.
Then - put the lock washer on and hammer down the outer spindle nut to 120-150#, or as tight as you can get it with the stupid spindle nut socket....
The key is getting the preload set on the first one just right and locking it all down with the outer nut.
I never use a torque wrench - I tighten the inner by feel - then hammer down the outer until I can't get it any tighter.
