Tips to get started on a 1975 200 4x4

Hi i recently got a 1975 200 4x4 and I’ve been putting together a list of things I need to do to get it road worthy again. I believe that it is a custom interior because it has the under-hood lights and a cargo light into the back of the truck, along with all the cushioning and padding in the actual interior. The truck has been sitting in the desert for maybe around 20ish years or maybe more and lots of rats and rodents have gotten into it somehow. the truck has only had 3 owners now including me and when the second guy bought it he just parked it in a lot and didn’t change anything. As far as he knows the entire truck is still stock. I already have a list of parts to get the motor running and I might be able to get some new tires for it. I just don’t know if there’s anything specific that I should look out for or should replace other than seals, belts, and tubes. Another thing is that I don’t know if it was the rats or just natural deterioration but the floor lining/carpet is totally destroyed and they also messed up the seat real bad. I might just get some vinal for the floor and see if the seat is recoverable but if it’s not then would anyone know where I could get a new one? Or atleast a new cushion and cover for it?

IIRC the 2 difficult to find parts are the exhaust manifolds and brake rotors. So make sure the brake pads have some meat on them before using the brakes. You might want to bring a spare "gold" box ignition too.

Ah thank you. Yeah I was excited to learn that it’s old enough to not need smog but I’m hoping that nothing is seriously wrong with the drivetrain. So far the only thing I’ve found is some surface rust and the interior is messed up.
