ThermoQuad running rich?

Hey guys.

The thermoquad on my 345 seems to be running very Rich. Smells of raw fuel, hard starting when warmed up.

Had issues with it on my trip here to georgia. It started running lean (or had a vacuum leak that could not be found) at idle. Messed with it a bit. The lever at the front top passenger side seems to have an effect. I pulled it apart on the Scout about a week ago to see if there was an obvious problem causing the lean condition. Found nothing. Put it back together and now has Rich condition, occasional run on when warm, and Rich smell.

Runs pretty good otherwise...

Any thoughts?

Most likely the x-rings are damaged or displaced at the fuel transfer tubes.

Probably be best to give the tq a rebuild kit and new floats.

Replace the choke pull-off(s) if they fail function/leakage tests.

Fyi - the lever at the forward right top of the carb is the fuel bowl vent that goes to the charcoal canister.
