Frank merrill of the truck museum wanted me to pass on his appreciation to all who helped with the show parking last Saturday. He said next year they would have a water jug out there for us.

I apologize for having to leave when I did to help carl rescue the car. I didn't even get a chance to walk through the show grounds.

I think this volunteer effort worked great! Just the right number of IHSTO folks who always step up when we need help! And giving back to the powerland partner museums certainly helps IHSTO strengthen our relationships with the various organizations.

Next year we can put alot more "planning" into managing the parking and entrance operation now that we know "what" they want and "how" to do it!

The participants and show visitors were certainly a wonderful bunch of folks that would be a pleasure to have at the bee also! So I see this a win/win deal for us all the way around!

And now that I know it's a yearly event for us I can plan ahead when katy lays out the summer schedule to include time for helping this cause.

Sorry I was not able to this year. I was hoping it went well.
