t90 input shaft??????

It would seem that more information would be needed.

Early 4 cylinder scouts that used a (pancake) short bell housing also used a t90 with a 7/8 diameter input shaft. The later 800 and sii 4 cylinder t90 and v8 3 speeds used a larger diameter and longer shaft. I doubt those would interchange. I must admit that I have not had the opportunity to have these two combinations side by side so you will need to use caution here. There are likely some Scout configurations that do not fit what I have posted.

That's good infoof. I'm hoping the two have the same amount of teeth and gears. Somebody has to know on here for sure!

I forgot where I read this but as I was considering swapping t18 wide gears into my early Scout 18 and you would need to turn the Ford input shaft down on a lathe. So I dont see why a t90 would be much different. But yes I believe the input shaft is the same from Scout II to early scouts just a differerent length.
