T Case output slop

Seems like my Dana 300 t case output has more play then 15 years ago when I got it from the junk yard.

So I took off the pan; no shavings, everything visible looks good.

Took off the yoke and output shaft housing; bearings look good and soaked in oil.

So now I think I am paranoid.

I am hoping someone can confirm my insanity and tell me to just put it back together....

Since the tc is already mostly in pieces, why not do it right and go ahead and rebuild it with new bearing sets??

Debris is only going to be present in the case of catastrophic failure of some components.

Are the pre-load/endplays all to spec on the outputs? Does it leak? Is the idler/intermediate shaft eaten up? Ya won't know until it's all in pieces.

She is rebuilt and all back together.

Thank you for giving me a nudge in the right direction. Nothing else was wrong, but now I know, and for the first time in years, it does not leak:)
