T-98 Clutch - Bellhousing Re-A ssembly Doesn't Seem Correct

I'm missing something here. The lever that pushes in on the clutch does not seem to hit the clutch assembly.
The photos can show this better than I can describe. If push the lever as far back as it will go, the lever sticks and needs to be knocked back which tells me the lever is going to far. I will upload some photos from the underside later today.
I purchase the clutch rebuild kit from IH Parts America.

I hope these additional photos can help me figure out what is going on?
Thanks!

From what I can see, the clutch fork "looks" like it's backwards.

Did you re-use the factory throw-out collar?

Yes, this was part of the kit I bought from IH America.
Of course its' backward.. LOL
Thanks for the tip - let me get it back right... :)
Thanks!
~P.

Wait - just thinking through this.. the bigger, shinier, smoother, end is butted up against the clutch.
Let me see if I can get some better pictures before I tear into it.
Thanks!
~P.

You should of used the longer style throw-out collar if your truck had one previously. The shorter style was mainly used on the Scouts.

It's just my assumption that the fork is backwards, I can barely tell in the picture but that is my thought. In conjunction with the possible throw-out collar issue.

OK- we will dig into it. I remember looking at the two collars and thinking they were the same size. I broke a cardinal rule and threw the old one away before the project was completed. If I need a replacement - a longer one, do you have one available?

I have attached a photo with the measurement we took.
Also it appears the fork in the bell housing is sticking on the nubs where I have the arrows pointing.
@Zaedster if the length is correct, I should be able to grind the nub down and stop the sticking. However, I have a feeling the length is not correct because I don't think there is enough travel to hit the clutch.
Let me know asap so I can order the correct piece if necessary.

Hi,

That looks like the short version.

This is the long version:

I would also like to see a picture of your clutch fork in the bell housing to confirm it's in right.

Interesting - If I had to guess - that's about the length I'm short :p
I am uploading the fork in a moment.
Hold that part for me :)

Measurement from the bell housing.
