1963 Scout 80 4wd
the case says t90a-1, j-29-6,
shift tower has t90-140, wg
ordered a rebuild kit for this 3 speed from ihon. And noticed the roller bearings that go in the cluster are shorter in the kit than what came out of the trans. After some research it looks like not all t90 trans had 4 rows of rollers inside the cluster. Anyone know what variations, part numbers, etc.? Also the rubber lip seal in the bearing retainer did not come with the kit but there was a felt washer.? And last, I orderd some u-joints that won't work. This rig has Dana 27's front and rear and the u-joints that came off have 2 different caps - the ones that go in the u bolt straps are larger than the ones that press into the shafts. Any info would be greatly apppreciated.
